Westward Ho! Day 5 of 5

After four arduous days on the road, my westward relocation finally came to an end on Day 5, trekking from Mesa, AZ to Whittier, CA.

For the rest of my road trip video-action, check out Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4. Bam.

It was surely a week to remember. My next post will feature a recap of said road trip and the ensuing months that followed, but I’ll sum it all up with one word: beautiful.

I’d never been west of the Mississippi before this move, as evidenced by the fact that I didn’t even know I was crossing the Mississippi as it happened. My breath was taken away time and time again; this country, this world, is just so beautiful. And I’ve still only seen a sliver of it.

Until next time, America. Here’s the grand finale:

What’s your favorite state?

Sweet opportunity!  Kinda Jealous.  My family moved from CA to VA and drove cross country when I was a little kid- will never forget that.  Sounds like your trip was pretty bodacious too.  Congrats on seeing the country!

Honestly, I love Georgia. I know it’s mostly cause I’ve lived here all my life- but, still, even my visits to other states haven’t made me change my mind. I think it’s the diversity- social, racial, artistic, culttural. I also like the weather and the scenery and the size.

Yeah, I’m definitely biased. It happens.
