My readers, listeners, and viewers who’ve reached out over the years have been largely supportive; occasionally, though, I’ve received the so-called “negative” emails. Including this one that assumed my religious brainwashing.
I actually enjoyed receiving this particularly thoughtful email, as it allowed me the opportunity to reflect on the “why” of my faith – not just why I follow this road of singleness and celibacy within my sexuality, but why I find this Jesus so compelling and why I choose Him, over and over.
