Last month, me and a sister and some other person decided to drive from Los Angeles to Seattle. Yes, that’s a bit of a drive. Thankfully there was plenty to occupy our vision along the way — unlike my drive through Alabama and Mississippi when I moved to the West a couple years ago. VISION SUICIDE.
After stopping in San Francisco, we meandered through a magical forest full of redwoods. As you can see by my gleeful picture in the middle of the road, it was a definite highlight of the trip.
And now you get to watch this videographic supplement to the pictoral proof. Yes, I just made up some words there. But I’m a wordsmith; I do that.
Just hold your breath, make a wish, and absorb the magic of the redwoods and a ginormous Paul Bunyan statue.
Well, breathe first. Then watch all that magical jazz.
Ever hug a tree? Ever sense certain magic while hugging said tree?
